Coverage & Payment

A clearer path through funding.

Understanding how services may be funded should not feel like another obstacle. We will help you identify the right questions, verify available benefits, and understand the next step before services begin.

Ways services may be funded

Different paths. One honest conversation.

The best payment path depends on the service, the learner’s needs, the funding source, and current eligibility.

01 · Insurance

Health insurance

Insurance may fund medically necessary ABA services when eligibility, clinical criteria, authorization, and plan requirements are met.

  • Aetna — currently accepting
  • Cigna — currently accepting
  • TRICARE — accepting beginning November 1, 2026
  • Humana — credentialing in progress
02 · Educational Funding

Step Up For Students

Eligible educational services may be supported through an applicable Florida scholarship program. Availability depends on the learner’s scholarship, provider approval, service, and program rules.

03 · Direct Payment

Private pay

Families may choose to pay directly for services that are not insurance-funded, are outside a plan’s coverage, or are selected for greater flexibility. Fees are explained before scheduling.

Before services begin

We verify first, then explain clearly.

Receiving an insurance card or scholarship name is not the same as confirming coverage. We review the available information and tell you what we know before you make a commitment.

Important: Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Final coverage decisions are made by the payer or funding program.
01

You share the starting information

Service interest, insurance or scholarship details, location, and basic information about the learner.

02

We review eligibility and requirements

We identify relevant benefits, authorization needs, participation status, and documents that may be required.

03

We explain the likely responsibility

When available, we review deductibles, copays, coinsurance, private-pay fees, or scholarship considerations.

04

You choose whether to continue

You can ask questions and decide whether the service and funding path feel workable for your family.

Common questions

What families often ask.

Does accepting my insurer mean every service is covered?

No. Coverage depends on the specific plan, service, diagnosis or clinical criteria, authorization, location, provider participation, and other payer rules.

Can I use private pay if insurance does not cover a service?

In many situations, yes. We will explain whether a private-pay option is available and provide the fee information before services are scheduled.

Can Step Up funding be used for ABA?

Funding rules vary by scholarship and service. We review the requested service and provider approval before telling a family whether Step Up may be an available path.

What should I have ready when I contact you?

If available, have the insurance card or scholarship information, learner’s age, current concerns, service interest, general schedule, and county or city. You can still reach out if you do not have everything.
